Grounded.
Project Statement.
The Grounded exhibition is based on the idea of organic lines, and it is being shown throughout nature, food, and interiors. Grounded is represented through the colour palette, texture palette and what is showcased in the illustrations that are going to be exhibited. This includes a range of natural foods, nature of leaves or flowers and grounding the images by using more solid objects in most of them such as glass.
Illustrations will be focus of the exhibition. The illustrations will bring through the organic line which will be used throughout all the illustrations that are made for this exhibition. The illustrations will include different inspiration from nature, food and interiors which showcase organic lines in themselves.
The illustrations will use the medium of gouache, which is a flat paint technique, so using a range of soft and warm textures and tones in the exhibition space which bring in the elements of warmth and the feeling of been inviting into the space.
