Restore.

Project Statement.

My concept for this brief is Restore, which is about the mind, body, soul as well as the idea of restoring items or objects. This theme relates to every single aspect of our lives from how we look after ourselves, to what food we eat and drink, to buying things, the environment around us, plus much more. This theme really focuses on what we as humans need to do, to look after ourselves as well as the environment around us as well.

This theme goes in depth about what food and drinks are good and feed our mind, body, and soul as well as what we can do to restore or reuse objects that we have laying out that we do not want anymore. So instead of throwing it out, it focuses on restoring it and giving it a new life.

This theme is based on a neutral colour palette that consists of light grey, very light brown, a medium brown and a slightly darker medium brown with the contrast of the colour palette being black. I decided on these colours due to them being very accessible in styling a space but also due to the way each colour sits next to each other, so they complement each other, with the black being the standout colour that I am going to use as highlights or use aspects of it in the design to ground things.

I also feel as though these colours give off a very earthy, natural, and organic feeling when you go in depth about each colour chosen. With the black being the bold standout of all the colours I want it to being only used to enhance the design and not take away from the design.
